I wonder why no one goes with 1.43oz cuben for the floor? I would think this would still be lighter than the silnylon floor including seam sealent? I wish Zpacks would bring back the 1.26oz cuben ...

Both my DuoMid and Ultamid have a reinforced cone too. I will have to give it a try then, seeing as other people are doing it with the carbide tip up and not having problems.

Tad, what I do to prevent burning something is sort of make a picket fence around the stove. I push sticks into the ground pointing up. This helps to prevent something from bumping into the stove. ...
