Re: Thanks John
Yeah, at this point we have a record amount for this time of year (in most places in the Cascades) but things can change quickly. If we get a lot of warm, windy days then you'll have no problem...

Re: Re: Nafta
Thanks Greg. I just misunderstood the original quote from Integral Designs. I still find the quote from them confusing, but don't care anymore. Your description is what I understood to be true,...

Re: leki
I've never had a problem with a flick lock. I've had problems with every pole that contains a twist lock. The GG LT4s are the best though. It took me a long time before I had a slip and a l...

Re: flick lock
I own a pair of LT4s. I've put thousands of miles on them. I really like them and think the twist locks are great. However, if they were offered in a flick lock, I would buy a new pair in a...

I haven't tried it, but you could try cutting the elastic parts on the edges, replacing buckles and straps on the back with cord, removing the ice axe (or whatever) straps on the back and maybe...

Gossamer Gear
Another GG review, another five out of five. This time, I broke a pole section (the lower part, or tip). It was my fault (I stepped on it) and not the fault of the pole. A call to customer support (I&...

I bought this tent a few years ago, before I knew about tarp tents. I have been happy with it, but it is a little smaller and heavier than a tarp tent. As a free standing tent, it is more round, which...
