My Locale Scotts Valley CA via San Jose, CA
About Me A return to backpacking after a musicians life. Hiked with too much weight before finding out the "lite" side. I live in Scotts Valley which is right in the middle of the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains, and only 10 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from Los Gatos. Love the Sierra's!!! Too many places to see and go!

Terry you are correct about Jeff running the biz. Jeff and his wife are friends of mine and live nearby. Great guy. We had a GREAT skate scene here in the early 80's

+1 on what Tom posted....just gain the pass, it is a stroll over to Williamson Bowl...I plan on spending many trips in this area and cannot think of going up that route.

Re: Re: Re: An Alternative
Thanks Dave, that is the area that I was referring to. I was looking at this section from the trail but it sounds like it is quite doable. Excited to try it in the future

Been using ULA packs for years. Bought the P2, P1 and now the Conduit. All are excellent in their own way. Customer service is perfect and so is the gear. Great packs!!!
