My Locale Houston, we have a problem
About Me Been backpacking on and off for 30 years. Jumped into ultralight two years ago and am currently experimenting with SUL. I have a good 5 lb 20 degree kit and am working on a 3 lb kit. I make some of my own gear.

My gear and stuff is slowly going up at markhenley.webs.com

Long term goal is to hike the AT on early retirement in 2012. Every trip is an education between then and now on how to stay comfortable with a 6 to 7 lb baseweight on a long trip

Bill, I took the liberty of starting a new Yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SULhiking/ If that's where the consensus would want to store this info as a repository. If so ... I...

Alcohol stove for mug
I use the whitebox stove with either a Can pot or a Snow Peak 600 ml cup. It works very well with either.

Snow Peak 600
This cup is big enough to cook in for a solo person, a huge cup of java, or it's great for just boiling water. I use a piece of simple foil for a lid and it works amazingly well on a Snowpeak Giga...
