I'm thinking about just cutting the ammo to 50 rounds, which will save half the weight. I have to admit the 45 colt ammo does not feed or extract well in the 1911 revolver.

Digital scale is definitely next on my list. I'm sure if I saw the individual weights of all these items I would see which are the big hitters with regards to weight.
