Re: EB Downlight 50 Jacket $63!
Update: Got mine a few days ago. XL/Tall size. It runs a hair big on me in the torso, but not bad. Would be perfect to layer something underneath like a fleece. Very puffy with no under filled baff...

Re: Re: Quasar
I think at $240 the Quasar is a better choice than the Bitterroot for what you are looking for. $325 - probably not. The Golite has a hood that is pretty useless unless you are wearing a helmet f...

Re: Re: Notch
I agree with most of what Dave has said, although some of it can be argued. One other con for the Notch would be how the silnylon is going to soak up water weight when it rains. Not sure how much t...

Re: warning
Didn't Patagonia's world-beater $700 jacket also have some fill issues too? Seems this is becoming more common. Ryan

Re: Baffle Height vs. Baffle Width
"Can I aim for 1.5" baffle height, max 4" baffle width and stuff amount for 1.75" - 2" loft without adding 30% overfill?" Yes. 30% overfill is a lot really and is o...
