Re: Re: Re: Cap 4 = Power Stretch?
Yeah, the current Cap 4 stuff is pretty light. Pants are 5 oz and the Top is 8oz or so, you're under a lb for the pair, likely even in the largest sizes. Still I think the stuff is too warm for...

Re: All-in-one
@HWC, I'm not sure that's what the above poster was recommending. I don't know anyone on this forum that uses the typical 3-in-1 winter combos sold by so many companies. What they are r...

Re: Alps
REI is selling the Flash 62 for just under $100. A little bit smaller than your preference but the 62 has a robust frame with suspension. It should be able to carry your desired weight.

Re: Multi-use Winter Jacker DAS?
MHW B'layman's are on sale now for $120 at campsaver. If your size fits it's a pretty good deal and should be more than warm enough for anything you do with proper layering based off yo...

Re: Tell The Winter Surfers in Portland, Maine
Max, you're wrong. Wool dries slowly which reduces flash cooling, hence the "warm when wet". For reference are there any wet suits suitable for arctic water (ie around freezing) temps...
