Cool, thanks for sharing. I will admit, the tent looks to do a lot better than I expected, but I still think a more buttoned up design would put less stress on the stakes under the same conditions....

Compared to other technologies, I don't think most backpacking gear is that difficult to replicate. Example: it's not very hard to figure out how a particular pyramid tarp or quilt is made....
