bottom is bigger = not good
One thing that I dont like about these is the the bottom of the pack is fatter than the rest. Then when you fill the stretchy side pockets with stuff (water = heavy) it gets even bigger and heavier...

If you want bug proctoon with a full netting floor at that point you might as well get a sewn in bathtub floor for a minimal weight increase.

There Are loads of people who don't like aluminum for various reasons, sometimes it's perfectly fine to spend an absurd amount of money on something like titanium that will last forever.
