Re: ask ULA may be Ivan... That yellow cord you see on the Ohm is not shock cord, it's actual cord so that the pack can be compressed using the attached cord lock. |

Re: Re: Ohm Hip Belt OK, OK, I'll try to load a few things in the pack later this morning and get a photo or two of the hip belt. In the meantime... John... The hip belt wings on my large Ohm extend 10" from ... |

Re: Ohm Hip Belt Ray... I just unpacked the pack to get the Nunatak quilt out of the bottom to stop the unnecessary compression. The next time I pack it up, I'll get that photo. The wings of the hip belt sit ri... |

Re: Re: Re: Re: ULA Ohm Russell... I'd say IF it were possible to take a very hard fall and somehow strike the frame on the edge of a sharp boulder, then yes it could crack or break. As I said, the frame seems, at lea... |

Re: Revelation Even though I have a perfectly good Spinntex Revelation, which is my go-to pack for 3 to 4 days or less, I couldn't resist ordering this new version. |

Re: Poncho vs Rain Jacket and Pants I agree with Paul and use almost the same setup. An ID Silcoat Cape (which I have found to work better than a poncho) and an MLD Grace Solo tarp (Spectralite). Most ponchos are, in reality, too sma... |

Montbell UL Down Inner Parka This is a perfect jacket, but the parka hood made me drop my score from a 5(+) to a 4. At 7.5oz for a Large, it's the lightest jacket I own, by far. Packs up smaller than a softball. Perfect over... |

Montbell U.L. 90 Sleeping Pad U.L. 90 I bought the 90 to use in conjunction with the MB pillow to make what amounts to a 3/4 mat. When I use it in shoulder seasons and into winter, I add a GG Nightlight Torso to the bottom end by punching... |
