Re: tenkara Brad, Tenkaras are best for fishing small streams. Rod and reel set ups are better for lakes. |

Re: Stream fishing in the bay area This isn't a stream, but Hood Mountain in Santa Rosa has some ponds that are full of bass. Fishing in them is almost too easy. It's a short hike in. |

Re: Sinkyone Wilderness- your favorite approach? I remember reading somewhere that the coast just south of Shelter Cove was really dangerous and impassable. But maybe the trail goes around the beaches. |
