I use a Swiss Army Bantam a lot. Full size blade plus a combination tool (can opener, bottle opener, phillips and straight screw driver, wire stripper). 33 grams.

Durability is another factor in sleeping pad usage. I am not sure how one would measure it. On CCF pads, tear strength could be a factor, inflatables, puncture resistance.

seam in other direction?
Maybe use a seam in the lower back where it would be a big leakage issue, and use the length rather than the width of the fabric for side to side roomyness?
