My Locale Western US
About Me Started backpacking in 1998 - US with some global travel (Pacific, Europe, Asia, northern Mexico). Semi-retired from a govt type job working on the side. Here to hike more comfortably and maybe a bit furtherfaster while still stopping for scenery. Finished my 20F kit, .. starting on a 45F one (both interchangeable).

Gear list was for 3 days but made it almost as a "24-hour" adventure (like 25 hours) using the Z-pack

Re: Canyonlands NP, Needles District, Salt Creek
Good trip. My last times out there were in early and late Fall 2006, so nice to some flowing water out there.

Re: Zimmerbuilt hipbelt
I'd imagine you would just need to anchor the new webbing on the hip belt (mine is sewn in using two series of stitches on either side). Getting the stitching down may be tough if you cant se...

I disagree
The website is already reviewing framed packs, .... why not double-walled tents? Though a couple tarp-tents for thrown in comparison, like the Moment DW or Stratospire, would would have been nice.
