Re: What size of daypack is everyone using? As far as I know, I have 3 essentials. Water, food, and insulation. I've gone all day with a nathan hpl 20, (about 3 litters). This was going up in the high sierras and way above 10k feet.... |

Re: Re: Down sleeping bag with synthetic overquilt You will stay much warmer with a synthetic bag and a down quilt inside. It works much better to both fill all the empty air space in a bag plus adding loft instead of just adding loft on top. |

Re: How hard is it to put a headhole in the middle of a down quilt? A smiley face shape is great because it keeps your head warm as well. No need to make a hole, just a cut and sew. |
