Re: Re: My "wind shirt" rant...
I have a homemade 2.2oz M90 windshirt. It breathes well enough to wear over my base layer and does an amazing job at holding my body heat in without breaking me out in a sweat. I'm sorry,...

Re: Re: Old ideas
Wool sweater is not overly heavy. I would do almost anything to save just one ounce. That's 1 ounce I don't have to carry for over 2600 miles. So we are not questioning your gear, we are...

Once I get my Zelphs 2 cup Fosters Pot I'll be close at 1.2 ounces. Still, I really like this setup. . .

I made a quilt as light as I could for someone 6' and 170#. Came out to 8.5 ounces. It was done with many shortcuts, but taking away a few of those shortcuts would also take a lot to get ba...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Could use a little help on a quilt I am making.
Hate to say it, but your problem started at step 17. You should have sewn both layers of fabric together inside out with all but about a foot in the middle of the footbox. Once you turn it insi...

Fenix L2D-CE
Everything else is just a light. For its weight, its 2-40 times brighter and lasts 5-10 time longer. Now they just need to make a 3AAA headlamp with a 5/15/35 lumens setting. The only problem...
