The ultimate trick in rain
When you get to camp: Boil some water.. and just as it is safely cool enough.. add it to your water bottle.(Soda and gatorade bottles work fine, just don't put piping hot water in them okay..)...

I sure like a visor or eqivalent hat with a stiff brim. Worn under a hood it keeps rain from dripping on your face and the hood from drooping down in your eyesight. I also like using an umbrella....
