know anything about "ethical" gear, materials, fuels, etc Our local shop used to recycle canisters. They had a device that punch a hole in them. I think our local rei takes them for recycling too. JetBoil sells a punch now, for the home recycler. |

Steripen questions - sterilizing the threads of water bottle? Plastic is hard to sanitize. Get a metal bottle and carry a torch. Flame the threads and you will be safe. |

Sunscreen that isn't oil based, doesn't burn your eyes, and is easy to clean off. Kinesys isn't exactly what you ask for, but it might work for you. The old coppertone ethanol gel was the best. Never did hear why it was pulled off the market. |
