About Me Originally from Louisiana, I enjoyed camping in my Boy Scouting days and eventually became an Eagle Scout. Many years later (2002), I discovered backpacking after going on an REI multisport trip to Alaska. My first backpack was to Grand Canyon, and I was hooked!

I was acosted by two turkeys (animal type) at Bright Angel campground some years ago. The turkeys were making rounds on all the campers in search for food.

Thanks Steven..lol. In the paragraph below on "agitation" they mention probably what you are doing. In the past everyone seemed to only use wide mouth containers.
