Re: Fantastic
Ha! Sorry man, kind of you to make an offer, but I am not in the bivy modding business, plus I live in Sweden. I say just take your bivy to a local seamstress and get it done. There are several ...

Re: Re: Cuben/M50 Borah Bivy modification completed and tested :)
Thanks! You could always get another bivy. There are a lot to choose from, but I say if your tarp/bivy combo gets past around 500-600g, you might look into hybrid tents--unless you just have to...

Cuben/M50 Borah Bivy modification completed and tested :)

Zpacks bug net vs. Gossamer Gear bug canopy
I already own the bug net, but the GG canopy is much lighter and also pretty affordable at 35 bucks. Not sure how easy the canopy is to use/set up, or how effective it is at keeping all the bugs a...

Re: Re: New gear tested: good and bad news
HK, I am not sure about testing it again or modifying it at this point. Think I will just go with my Zpacks solo bug tent, which was my back up all along. The appeal of having a 350g all in shelt...

No car for me
I feel like I am the only one that relies on public transportation nearly all the time around here. So no car trunk goodies for me. Usually it's get go bus or train stop that will get me back...

New gear tested: good and bad news
Been trying to find the time to get out on an overnighter, but life has just been too busy as of late, so I got desperate and decided to test out my new sleeping bag and bivy outside in my backyard...
