Yes, you can boil in virtually any container. With the interior coating, etc I wouldn't want to consume the water afterward. In addition, it won't last for many uses.

Konrad, Mike's suggestions both work well. Which model do you have? If you have the Journey and funnel/bottle adapter you can use most any wide or narrow mouth bottle, upside down easily...
