combination sublite tyvek & golite poncho/tarp: ideal compromise (?) Cool idea. I've been tempted to glue a cuben cover to the horizontal surfaces of my Sublite, just to give it a little longer use in big rain. I don't think the vertical sidewalls would be m... |

Old school ultralight hiker here...help me update my gear! Doesn't look like you're missing much to me. The GoLite you have probably weighs less than the current GoLites. Lots of good cottage quilt makers, check out Englightened. |

Marmot Atom Mens Regular 40 Degree Nice bag. 1/2 zipper is kind of a pain, and makes it hard to use as a quilt. Seems true to rating. |

ULA Catalyst Replaced my Exos 58 with this, much more comfortable, with more weight. Got a deal on a 2008 model, and added the dual stays. A lot bigger pack than I'll use most of the time. Gained some weight o... |

ULA Circuit Switched to this for more durability, and the ability to carry more water in the desert. Works like a champ, and you couldn't ask for better customer service. |

Golite Ultra 20 Mine kept me warm in the upper 20s, so I'm happy. I'm not completely sure it would reach 20, and keep you warm for 8 hours. But it's a great product for a great price. |
