My Locale South Florida
About Me I have a place in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and hike there a few times a year and looking forward to retiring there in a few years.

In Florida, most of my camping involves kayaking on our beautiful river swamps and kicking the alligators off the banks to pitch a tent.

I'm sure this stuff is nice, but it is currently way too expensive for me to justify using it.

Re: Photos
Lawson, You just made it look too easy for me to continue to delay building a cuben tarp out of fear. Thank you! What is the brand of tape you are using & where did you get it?

Re: Try this
The Seattle Fabric stuff isn't waterproof. "Spinnaker" is a very nebulous term for fabrics. You really have to know what you are getting.

Re: Spinnaker For Sale By The Yard?
Actually, thru-hiker has been out-of-stock for over a year. I wish I could find some. I have been making needlessly heavy tarps this year :(
