Reuse/Recycle Old Wool/Fleece Socks? I have several pairs of well-worn wool and fleece socks that are beyond repair... The fleece ones could probably dropped off at Patagonia for recycling, but I was thinking of a way to reuse them so... |

Re: Patagonia R4 - Useful at all? Only for 'round town, or maybe car camping, which means, at 24 oz. for an XL, it's generally not worth it unless you got it for free (like me--as a gift). And there are better alternatives ... |

Re: High temp for wool? For socks and boxer-briefs, it's year-round. For tops, when highs are above 50F, the wool stays home. Below 50, wool is sort of comfortable for me 'til the 30s, and below that I can't f... |

Long or Short Z-Lite? Should I get the long and trim to the short length and save the leftover material for sit-pad/frame sheet/when-I-want-a-longer-pad; OR skip the long since the leftover material is too flimsy by it... |
