My Locale Bridger Mountains
About Me I backback most frequently in the Rockies, and most often take three-day trips. Over the past fifteen years I've served as a Forest Service volunteer in Wyoming and Montana, doing trail maintenance. As I get older I'm always looking for ways to lighten my pack load but I'm far from ultralight. I especially like base camp trips, with day hikes from a fixed camp.

Window on an Unna
Peter's right, a window helps. Mine has the equivalent of a window - a tulle mesh panel on the door. Possible for me only because I bought the tent from Peter.

Very restless side sleeper
I'm a veteran tosser and turner, and claustrophobic as well. Mummies give me fits. Quilts were the answer for me except in winter. The past two winters I've been experimenting with a Nunata...

Nother vote for Sierra Trading Post
STP gets plenty of very high end brands (Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear) that are "last year's model" or color. Always has wool base layers and sweaters.
