Spectra and Dyneema guys do not tangle as easily as nylon string. Having nothing at the free ends of the guy ropes helps enormously. Cheers

Down may be stored compressed to a very high density for a long time with zero damage provided it is dry. What Moosejaw sold you should be perfectly OK. Cheers
