Re: OP sack first
While the OP Sack is very good at keeping odor in place, it is not effective once contents ”contaminate” the outside. You can boil it clean again if needed. If eating out of the freezer bag, w...

RE: Poncho design
I think if you try using a large trash bag and cut out a hole for the head and arms will offer a more realistic view if you would loose some ventalation. I believe it would leave you feeling a bi...

RE: Anyone
Ian, I have no experience with the MSR Duralite line, but I do use the Snow Peak Titanium 1400, 900 and 700. If you get the Titanium Trek Combo as a set, you get both the 1400 and 900 for about a ...

I agree that just tomatoes is a good source. My local natural food store carries them in a pint size container. Yet another plug for the local natural food store!

RE: Snow Peak Trek 700
I have the Snow Peak Trek 700 and like it. You can nestle the Snow Peak 450 into it, and the 700 will nestle into the 900 and the 900 nestles into the 1400. This is a complete compliment for most a...

Thanks Mike B. I appreciate the find. It is the .4 size that is listed and I would really like to find the .8 (22 oz.) size. I will just have to be patient and stay with my aluminum one for now.

MSR Titanium Fuel Bottles
It seems that MSR has discontinued their Titan titanium fuel bottle line. Is anyone aware of another alternative or where there is a surplus of these for sale?

Photon Light Proton Personal Flashlight
I would give the Proton a 4 out of 5 score primarily because of its high cost ($69). It is an excellent light if you need to do any emergency signaling at night or if you need a high intensity beam fo...

I like the simplicity in the concept of the design. It is a combination of bivy sack and single wall tent with plenty of room that weighs in at 25 ounces. The bathtub floor and netting along the floor...
