In the condition you defined, I've found nothing stops water from entering thru the face and sleeve opening. Stand in the shower of you need to test this for yourself.

I would guess the Fusion 65L volume "spec" is wildly exaggerated? It does look considerably smaller than the Exped 60L. And a 65L main compartment would have to measure around H72cm x W34...
