PW - Here I am being funny, but I'm hiking the JMT twice this year, SOBO in July at a leisurely pace over 16 days, then if I haven't come to my senses, I'll go NOBO in September trying...

Stay in the right lane
If you do decide to hike the JMT, please stay in the right lane. Nothing is more annoying than side-by-side chattering tourists blocking those of us who have a bus to catch.
