My Locale Seattle area
About Me Grew up camping and backpacking in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. Then went to the east coast for grad school...then job...then family. Twenty years later we were able to reach escape velocity from Washington DC and relocated the entire family to the PNW. I've fallen in love with the Cascades as much as the Rockies. And we spend 4 weeks every year in Montana near Glacier.

Re: go for 2?

Re: BA Fly Creek UL4 for $350 at Campsaver
Another vote for the BA fly creek 4. It's tight for 4 adults but good for 2 adults and 2 kids. Used it for a couple of years with just your situation.
