My Locale Sierra Nevada
About Me I am Co-Director, along with my wife - Phoebe, of the Athenian Wilderness Experience. We run courses in the summer to the Sierra Nevada and in the spring to the Cottonwood Mountains of Death Valley National Park. Our students take this course as a graduation requirement for the Athenian School, a small private school near Mt. Diablo State Park, California.

We also live part of the year at our house in Bishop, California. This provides us ample time to explore the mountains and desert near there.

BD Spot vs. Zenix IQ vs. Tikka XP
Anybody have opinions on these three headlamps? Which provides the best light? Which provides more usable light for the weight? Which seems more "quality" in general?

Thanks
Thanks. I was mostly interested in the smallest canister available. I'm not really concerned with longevity or use/weight ratios. So, it sounds like the consensus is the SnowPeak 110.

Canister Fuel Dimensions
Has anyone compared the various fuel canisters available for lindal valve stoves (threaded)? I'm curious as to which is the most compact in its design. Thanks to all responders.
