My Locale Wet & Humid Southeast....
About Me My stomping grounds are the SE US, and 90% of the time, somewhere on the AT in GA, TN, or NC. Other times I enjoy going to the Smokies, or other smaller wilderness areas such as the Savage Gulf area.
Most of my trips are between 2 - 5 days long, with rare 7 day long trips. My total pack weights are generally under 20 lbs, unless trying new gear, or carrying extra for the kids. In the dead of summer, I enjoy SUL hikes, and have given thought to XUL (almost there...)

>But you'll have less capacity. Only by as much as 8 oz (and likely only about 6 or 7 oz) as I carry two 20 oz Gatorade bottles to drink from during the day. I always carry a 2L Sawyer ba...

Re: Re: Re: Vented drink tubing?
Nope, not in my pack... Fluids go in side pack pockets of my cuben (waterproof) backpack... Also, the weight of a single 1L Platy and the tubing would be less than the 2 Gatorade bottles I carry...

Re: Has anyone here used Luke's Ultralite Argon Wind Shell?
Like others, I haven't used that particular piece, but I also have a sil rain shell from him, and like others, I agree, he pays great attention to detail and does some nice work.
