Hmm
Looks tasty, but whats the idea with messing up two ziplocks? Could you not take all dry ingredients in one ziplock, tip into pot, add water and mix, add chopped apple and mix again, then cook?

Well done! I might also try raising the dough overnight in a lidded pot +1 I let the dough raise in the pot that it will be cooked in - usually a MSR quick skillet. Less mess that way.
