About Me I've been a backpacker for 40 years. I taught hiking and cooking merit badges at Boy Scout Camp when I was 14. Ran class 5 rapids on the New River in a open canoe back when it was a wilderness experience. Lately I'm a cube dwelling software architect during the week and a mostly solo backpacker on the weekends. Look for me in the Monongahela National Forest.

I have a lot of nights in TarpTents, Virga, Contrail and Moment. I still use my original floorless Virga for a couple of tight spots where I like to camp and the suitable pitching space is small. ...

"cuben, since not breathable would have more condesation" I don't have any scientific data but It's been my experience that cuben has less condensation issues than silnylon.

You might try the First Ascent BC-200. The sleeves have volume that is suitable for layering and they come in tall sizes.
