I have noticed slipping with my 2012 Murmur hipbelt. Since it is removable, I'm probably going to try replacing it with standard webbing.

I have to drive about 3 hours to the nearest trailhead and about 4 1/2 to the nearest "good" trails. I wish it wasn't so far, but it is.

My Circuit, a medium size torso and small size hipbelt, with a little bit of strap trimming and without any of the removable features on it, is about 29 oz. It's a great pack.
