About Me Sierra Club brat, 1st high trip age 4. Was SC leader & llama pack guide. Married, like solo's too. Longest hike: 470 mi in 49 days for 50th bday. (Donner Pass to Cottonwood S on PCT & side trips). Go light to save knees, stay out longer & go deeper into wilds, not go faster. Now do 7-10 day mostly XC hikes in Sierra. Most fun lately: 21 day trip w 1 human resupply, all above 10,400'. Take friends 70-80 yrs old on short trips. Am 110 # but not UL; like warmth, nice skincare. Eat healthy veg food & dry most of it, hike in skirt, love granite.
