I find it amazing what some people consider to be a "wide toe box". Outside of Altra (whose models post sell-out have unnecessary arch support) and maybe the Nike, nothing mentioned thus ...

Titanium is a poor conductor of heat, has major hot spots, etc. and can't really be used for anything other than boiling water. My guess - they've realized some people actually want to cook...
