My Locale Boulder, CO
About Me I started backpacking as a teenager in southern appalachia. My summers in college were spent in mountain heaven, glacier national park. Since then, I've lived and played in the high sierras, the cascades, and now the colorado front range. Walking into the mountains for a few days with a light pack never seems to lose its charm. Also a snapper of many photos. Check out my instagram for short visual trip reports and such.

Visor
I've been using a visor for years and much prefer it to a hat. It's just way more comfortable and breathable than a hat, and yeah, less material to soak up moisture. I like mine paired with...

The new katabatic packs are good in that weight range. I've been out on a couple ski traverses over the the winter with loads in that range, and was quite happy with how mine carried. This is c...
