My Locale SW OK
About Me 53 year old male, divorced, live with my three cats in a small town in SW OK. I work as a mental health therapist. I'm not the lightest backpacker, as I like my comforts, but still like to choose the lightest alternative. I ususally don't get to go backpacking but a few times a year, but usually get out weekly for a good day hiking, rock scrambling, and some climbing.
I am powerless over gear browsing, fondling, buying, playing with, and selling to begin the cycle again.

Has anyone tried dying Epic?
I've always liked Epic, but prefer stealth colors-has anyone tried to turn the "maize" color into a dark brown or green? roosterk

This book is more than a dusty old volume about a dusty old hiker. It's valuable, not only for the lightweight philosophy as noted above, but for the drawings and descriptions of different types ...
