About Me Grew up in Atlanta and took my fist backpacking trip from Deep Creek to Newfound Gap when I was 14. Over the years I sectioned hiked the AT, canoed every river and swamp I could find in the SE, and then went to Yellowstone for a month of backpacking. I got a job and stayed for 5 years. Schlepped my 60+ pound pack all over the west. Got old and weak and quit. Started car camping with my kids and one day my 8 year old asked if we could do some "real camping". Started researching gear and joined the lightweight revolution. Hallelujah!

Spring Hollow Campground just past Logan. It's easy in and out off Hwy 89. Another is Dewitt Campground a little further down the road.

What about toggles?
What about using toggles like the ones used on Peacoats. I loved those as a kid. Easy to use with gloves in cold weather also. You could repurpose the small plastic tooggles like the ones used ...
