Frame sheet

From my experience on those sections: Light rain gear should be fine. It is not likely you'll see rain in May but it is possible and you can even still get frozen stuff at higher elevations....

As needed, some food gets repackaged into ziplocs (nuts, dried fruit, etc.). When not in bear country, everything goes into a turkey roasting bag. Otherwise, it goes in a bear can.
