My Locale like, in my head???
About Me I am an avid adventurer, and have spent over two years' time "on the trail." I have alpine experience, including ascents in the Wind River Range, Wyoming, and Washington's North Cascades, which required crampons and an ice axe, but not much else. On a good day, I can climb 5.10b sport routes. I have been hiking for as long as I can remember. I have extensive extreme conditions experience resultant from both my military training and personal endeavors.

I'm also a hyper-fanatical neo-Schopenhauerist. So let's talk some German Idealism.
CountryDa' UP, eh?

Lots of options out there... While the Vaughan is certainly not suited for heavier work, I have no doubts as to it's quality. It is an American-made axe all around, with excellent steel and ...

The Vaughan Sub-Zero axe is the one to beat. I use one almost every day in my duties as a Forester. Light, with an ergonomic, straight-grained handle. 8oz head, and about 10 inches in overall leng...
