Re: Ursack vs Critters (not bears)?

Re: Which small camera with viewfinder?
I have an RX100 Mark II, and the Mark III adds the viewfinder and a wider and faster lens. Probably the best current choice for a serious but small backpacking camera. The Panasonic LX100 also ...

What size?
OK, I'm pretty well convinced this will replace my old Circuit, which has held up well but will head into retirement this year. What I don't know is how to decide what size frame. I'...

Re: Larger Volume Pack Recommendations/Advice

"I just figured out what an X100T is--Fuji, prime lens built in, so no optical zoom, $1300, while not cheap I am really intrigued and would love to try one." The X100s is the previous ...

"I've gone back and forth between it and the Fuji XT-1, which of course would double or triple the cost. But Fuji's glass for it's APS-C line appears to be one of the best on the m...

milk jug bucket
I sometimes carry the bottom 4 inches or so of a gallon plastic milk jug. It fits over a stuff sack inside my pack, weighs very little, and makes a handy sink.

The newest version is the Photon Freedom To The Max, which uses some sort of new technology in the LED that doubles brightness while not using any more battery power. Nice. The Doug Ritter edition ...

I just received my Marmot Ion jacket from Campmor, and I agree with the two most recent posts. I don't think it's sil-nylon, exactly, but my hiking test had water beading up on the inside whil...
