I just picked up a new iPhone 6 for my upcoming PCT thru (well, actually because my old iPhone literally fell to pieces). I've been assuming for a long time that I'd just get the Lifepro...

A twist on the age-old thru-hiker shoe question
(Well, maybe not a twist, but definitely an individualized version.) I am setting out on the PCT in late April, and despite feeling like I'd finally sorted out my trail shoes, I'm again ...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: how much of a concern is the camp view to you?
Yeah, I learned the "rocks on stakes" thing right quick after this. The entire situation described above could have been avoided by setting up camp in an obviously "better" c...

Re: Re: Re: Re: how much of a concern is the camp view to you?
I do most of my hiking in the mid-Atlantic area, so most of my camping, with occasional exceptions (including my secret off-trail Shenandoah spot whose location I'll take to the grave) winds up...
