My Locale Southcentral Texas
About Me A little bit of everything....:UL backpacking, attempts of Rainer, Hood, Three-Fingered Jack (them 3, me 0), cycling, kayaking, krav maga, scotch from Islay, Tough Mudder coming up (what was I thinking?), etc....

Attainable Goals: successful climb of 14K+ peak, thru-hike something with two or three letters, kayak during a snowfall.

Silly Goals: Triple Crown before my last breath, summit Vinson Massif before any other puertorican does it.

I appreciate the input. The trip is on for sure and I'll have about 7 days to explore the area before I have to head over to London.

After some suggestions from the folks at REI in CS it seems that LCW is the way to go. There have been some posts describing a great loop out there with the possibility of bagging a couple of peaks...

My go-to shirt right now is the RR Adventure top. It's very comfortable, very airy, dries fast, easy to wash, and looks great. I felt like a million bucks in the AT recently while wearing it. ...
