My Locale Arizona
About Me I have resided in the Southwest for most of my life and have always enjoyed hiking and outdoors in some fashion. The past 9 years my level of fanaticism concerning hiking and backpacking has ramped up steeply. I have spent the past decade gradually working my way into the ultralight philosophy and devote a significant amount of my income to new gear purchases. I currently reside in the Phoenix area and rare is the weekend that I do not get out for a hike of some sort. Time permitting, I also work in the electrical engineering field.

Re: setup
Fixed length poles work fine too. You can wrap a strip of duct tape around your pole and use that to seat the line for your rear tieout point.

Granite Gear makes them too. Decent quality but a little pricey.

Wow, great pictures! Thanks for sharing your trip. There are just so many places in the CO high country to explore. And nothing better than fresh fish out on the trail.

Just checked the website for cuben dry sacks and they are out of stock. Any idea when more will be available? I'm interested in picking a few up.

Re: TANJ
Cool, nice to see another Niven fan out there. I usually don't come over to the chaff side, but that drew me in.
