About Me I've loved backpacking, particularly in the mountains, since Boy Scout days in the seventies. Now serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Used to have the heaviest pack on trips :( . I've lightened up by a factor of two or better. Still learning. I enjoy backpacking and scrambling up 14ers & 13ers, both solo & with others, and have met some wonderful people high up in the backcountry.
