foil
I use embossing foil that I got at a craft store. It is thinner than MSR's foil but thicker than the kitchen foil. It works good for me with an Esbit stove.

rat sack
I have used and still use a rat sack they are great at keeping out Grand Canyon pests. I think they would stop a racoon if hung in a tree. Weight is not bad, better than a canister.

I have been using my F1 for about three years and it is still going strong. I got it as it would fit in my MSR Titan Kettle with a 110g canister, lighter, and a bandana.
