About Me Trail name "Mulestomper" age 68. Retired. Started backpacking in 70's. Hiking with family, Boy and Explorer Scouts etc.
Longest thru-hike 220 mi. on the JMT 07 in three wks. Completed about 800 mi. in sections of the PCT with my wife Ellen aka "Sky Pilot". Current base wt. 12# aprx.
Trail angel, ADZPCTKO volunteer, water cacher (3rd gate), gear head, innovator and modifier of gear. I like leaveing things better than I find them, exchanging ideas, techniques, trail humor and assisting other hikers. Also getting interested in Bikepacking.
