I'm an intermediate/advanced backpacker. In excellent shape. Love the outdoors.

Avid fisherman. I always carry my rod with me when I am backpacking.

I've climbed Mount Shasta, hiked most of Yosemite, visited Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

I'm going to do a 4 week section hike of the PCT in 2013.

altitude.
To be fair, I was at a lower altitude, and the water was brownish... like tea color. This was at about 4000 feet. So higher probability of Giardia. Still not fun!

Actually.. I think that nails it. I hadn't seen THAT design of hammock-chair before ... though I've seen others. If I use the material to double as a stuff sack / pillow then I'm game...
