Whoa Justin, chill! Re-read the thread, all folks having fun and Nick must have too much time between trips. If he was in real pain he would use the Mike Clelland! razor blade and write his notes...

beautiful job Brendan. It is good to hear that the lower Escalante (below Scorpion) is not so bad, we beat the hell out of the willows from Scorpion to Moody last fall.

Pillow is critical, head has to be high enough but without enough padding under my hips and shoulders (side sleeper) the pillow becomes secondary.

It does depend on how you cook, or what you cook. If all you do is boil water for FBC or freeze dried like Mtn. House then an alcohol or jet boil might be the best. If you do any one pot meals or...
