Arcteryx Palisade is a little baggier with a little less stretch. The material is thinner.

10 ft for sure. Chances are you'll end up using one pitch you like and sticking with it. Go catenary if you like a-frame.

I'm not a fan on small lockers either. I usually only have 3 or maybe 4 of them on me so there isn't much weight savings. Saving a few grams on 20+ nonlockers is a better bang for your buck.

You can easily get the R1 for under $90 when it's on sale. Find a balaclava on sale for under $20 and you are set.

Rab Latok Alpine. They have kept the same design for the last 5 years. They work very well with no frills. Just an elastic waist, great side zips, and light instep patches.

They are great for skiing, but they are a little crinkly compared to most shell pants. A touch baggy, which is ok for skiing. Not quite as nice for climbing. Breathability is ok when it's cold....
